 Victoria University (VU) is a public university based in Melbourne, Australia. It is a dual-sector tertiary institution providing courses in both higher education and TAFE.
The University has several campuses in Melbourne's Central Business District and Western region and one in Sydney. It also offers courses at partner institutions throughout Asia including China, India, Kuwait, Malaysia, Singapore and Vietnam. More than 47,000 students, including around 15,000 international students, studied at Victoria University in 2014.[citation needed]
VU offers seven academic colleges: Arts, Business, Education, Engineering and Science, Health and Biomedicine, Law and Justice, and Sports and Exercise Science.
